CURRICULUM: What is your class doing?

Classrooms at Cameron Park Elementary School celebrated "World Habitat Day" by reading "A Castle on Viola Street" by DyAnne DiSalvo and utilized Habitat classroom lessons.  Share your ideas! What is your class doing or do you have plans in the work?

  1. Our writing project this year for Habitat is going to be something like "Poets Against Poverty." We hope to create booklets of poems to hand out at our basketball fundraisers in exchange for donations. We think this will be a good way to get the students involved and have a purpose while also spreading messages about Habitat for Humanity and issues of poverty.
